ESOL
The WRSD provides support to students throughout the district who are English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). This service helps to remove barriers for students with low English proficiency. The goal is to build English proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing for those students who qualify. Qualification is determined by using ESOL standardized screening models. ESOL services are provided by a highly qualified teacher who is ESOL certified.
